Globy is a global B2B platform designed to simplify international trade by connecting buyers, suppliers, and logistics providers in one unified ecosystem. Together, we transformed Globy from a listing platform into a full-stack global trade operating system — redesigning marketplace architecture, RFQ systems, monetization models, and logistics tools as lead-generation engines.
Unified platform connecting buyers, suppliers, and logistics across 100+ countries — built as a full-stack trade operating system, not just a marketplace.
Globy is a global B2B platform designed to simplify international trade by connecting buyers, suppliers, and logistics providers in one unified ecosystem.
Their platform covers everything from product sourcing to freight pricing, trade events, and abandoned cargo opportunities.
Despite having a powerful product suite, Globy faced challenges in user acquisition, funnel optimization, supplier activation, and monetization of high-intent users.
Before working with 1World.dev, Globy faced several key growth and scalability challenges:
Buyers were browsing products, using tools (freight calculator, load calculator), and reading content — but not converting into RFQs or active negotiations at scale.
The platform had strong features but lacked clear conversion paths, optimized onboarding flows, and strategic funnel architecture.
Although many users created RFQs, only a small percentage received meaningful quotes, engaged in negotiations, or converted into real trade conversations.
There was no structured system to prioritize serious buyers, nurture suppliers, or filter low-quality requests.
Thousands of suppliers were registered, but many were inactive, response times were slow, and no incentive system existed to improve engagement.
Globy had powerful tools like Freight Calculator, Load Calculator, and Unclaimed Cargo, but these were operating as standalone features, not as lead-generation engines.
The platform had traffic and users but lacked clear premium unlocking mechanics, value-based pricing logic, and upsell funnels for logistics and sourcing services.
We treated Globy not as a website — but as a full-scale digital trade operating system.
Our work focused on five strategic pillars:
Redesign entire user journey into multi-layered conversion system.
Transform RFQ into main revenue and engagement engine.
Design premium interaction model for buyers and suppliers.
Turn tools into high-conversion acquisition engines.
Turn Globy into global trade authority platform.
We approached Globy as a trade ecosystem engineering project, not a website redesign.
We rebuilt Globy's entire user journey into a multi-layered conversion system.
We designed a new flow: Traffic → Product Search/Tool Usage → Soft Conversion (RFQ Creation) → Lead Qualification (Buyer Intent Scoring) → Engagement (Multiple Supplier Quotes) → Monetization (Premium Unlock & Negotiation).
Every step was engineered to reduce friction, increase perceived value, and push users toward high-intent actions.
We redesigned supplier onboarding into: Profile Completion System → Product Upload Automation → RFQ Matching Engine → Response Score System → Reputation & Ranking Logic.
Suppliers now compete on response time, quote quality, and profile trust score — which directly increased platform liquidity, buyer satisfaction, and supplier accountability.
We transformed the RFQ feature into Globy's main revenue and engagement engine.
RFQ Enhancements Implemented:
Supplier Matching Logic:
Each RFQ is auto-distributed to relevant suppliers, ranked by capability, region, and history, and limited to avoid spam and overload. This resulted in higher quality quotes, faster response times, and real negotiations instead of noise.
We designed Globy's premium interaction model.
Buyers can view multiple quotes for free, then pay to unlock direct supplier contact, chat access, negotiation tools, and trade documentation templates.
This created psychological commitment, high-intent buyer filtering, and natural monetization without ads.
Suppliers can boost RFQs, appear higher in rankings, get priority notifications, and access analytics dashboards.
We turned Globy's tools into high-conversion acquisition engines.
We redesigned it into: User inputs route → Gets instant quote → Prompted to save result, request full shipment assistance, or create RFQ. Now the freight calculator acts as a lead generator, logistics upsell engine, and buyer qualification tool.
We positioned it as a pre-shipment planning tool embedded with CTAs: "Find suppliers for this load", "Request freight quote", "Unlock logistics partner".
We rebuilt this into a deal discovery funnel with auction-style bidding, buyer verification system, and logistics integration. This created a completely unique revenue channel, high buyer engagement, and strong SEO entry point.
We turned Globy into a global trade authority platform.
We targeted trade keywords (import/export), freight pricing keywords, country-to-country shipping routes, product sourcing queries, and RFQ-based long-tail searches. Examples: "20ft container cost China to USA", "how to source suppliers in Turkey", "abandoned cargo auctions".
We built Industry Insights Hub, Trade Event Calendar SEO pages, country-specific logistics pages, market analysis articles, and supplier education content.
This positioned Globy as not just a marketplace — but a global trade knowledge platform.
We also helped Globy design internal business systems:
RFQ performance analytics, supplier response tracking, buyer behavior heatmaps, conversion funnels.
Supplier verification flows, document validation, company reputation scoring, fraud detection logic.
Globy evolved from "A B2B listing platform" into "A full-stack global trade operating system".
Where sourcing, logistics, negotiation, knowledge, events, and pricing all exist inside one unified platform.
Globy is now positioned as:
"The world's most complete digital infrastructure for global trade — connecting buyers, suppliers, and logistics through one intelligent platform."
This was trade ecosystem engineering at global scale. We weren't just building features — we were designing a complete digital infrastructure for international trade across 100+ countries.
We didn't build a website. We engineered a global trade operating system.
"1World.dev transformed Globy from a listing platform into a full-stack global trade operating system. We now operate a self-sustaining ecosystem where buyers, suppliers, and logistics providers connect seamlessly. This isn't just development — it's business engineering."
This project demonstrates our core expertise in:
Not just development. Real business engineering.
At 1World.dev, we don't just build marketplaces. We engineer complete digital trade ecosystems — connecting buyers, suppliers, and logistics through intelligent platforms that generate revenue, activate users, and scale globally.
